A 200-level law student of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Kogi State, Musa Amira Ojochegbe, has died in a road accident.
The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), PAAU chapter, confirmed her death in a condolence statement issued on Tuesday.
According to the association, Ojochegbe, who had matriculation number 26LA1026, was a student of the Faculty of Law whose life was tragically cut short by the accident.
“The Law Students’ Association of Nigeria, Prince Abubakar Audu University Chapter, sadly announces the passing of Musa Amira Ojochegbe, with Matric Number 26LA1026, a 200-Level Law student of the Faculty of Law, whose promising life was tragically cut short today in a road accident,” the statement read.
The association described her death as a deeply painful loss to her family, friends, classmates and the entire law students’ community.
“This is a deeply painful moment for the Association, and even more so for her immediate family, loved ones, classmates, and friends. The loss of a young, bright, and promising student is one that words can hardly express,” it added.
The association extended its condolences to Ojochegbe’s family, friends, classmates and members of the 26LA set.
“We stand with you in grief and pray that God grants everyone who mourns her the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” the statement concluded.
