Isreal DMW has responded to his boss, Davido’s, loss at the 2026 Grammys, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1.

Davido was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category alongside South Africa’s Tyla, Burna Boy (Love), Davido featuring Omah Lay (With You), Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid (Gimme Dat), and Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin (Hope & Love). The award ultimately went to Tyla for Push to Start.

While some Nigerian fans expressed disappointment over Davido not winning, his personal assistant and manager, Isreal DMW, took to Instagram to show his support. He argued that regardless of Grammy wins, Davido remains at the top of his game.

“Grammy Award or not, Oga still remains the Best Deal. Mad, back-to-back hit shits continue. Una go hear sweet music taya,” Isreal wrote, praising the singer’s continued success and influence in the music industry.
