Entrepreneur and businessman Wale Jana has stirred fresh conversations online after sharing his views on the long-running rift within the P-Square family.
His comments came after watching Peter Okoye’s seven-part video detailing his side of the dispute involving his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.
According to Jana, the biggest obstacle to reconciliation is Jude, whom he believes should no longer be associated with the P-Square brand. He alleged that Jude allowed greed to overshadow his role as manager, claiming he benefited unfairly from the success built by the famous music duo.
While acknowledging that Jude played a significant role in helping P-Square achieve success, Jana argued that his continued involvement has become harmful to both the business and the family relationship.
Jana also directed criticism at Peter Okoye, describing him as someone who reacts emotionally when he feels mistreated. He suggested that Peter’s approach to conflict has sometimes escalated tensions instead of helping to resolve them.
Reflecting on the family’s dynamics, Jana said he believes Paul shares a stronger bond with Jude than with Peter. He claimed that this close relationship has influenced Paul’s decisions and accused Jude of taking advantage of that loyalty, resulting in favoritism that has further divided the brothers.
Despite his criticism, Jana urged Peter and Paul to put their differences aside and rebuild their partnership. He encouraged the duo to focus on their newly registered company, return to making music together, and resolve their financial and legal disputes before they become even more damaging.
He also warned that the ongoing court cases could have serious financial consequences. According to him, prolonged legal battles could affect access to funds, disrupt royalty payments, reduce the value of P-Square’s music catalogue, and leave the brothers burdened with mounting legal expenses.
Ending his remarks with a note of caution, Jana stressed that disagreements involving money should be resolved quickly, warning that continued conflict could have lasting consequences for everyone involved.
