TV host Morayo Afolabi-Brown has spoken out after revealing that she received a phone call from someone who rained curses on her over questions she asked a guest during an interview.
In a video shared online, Morayo expressed shock over the incident, stressing that asking questions is a fundamental part of her job as a journalist and television host. She noted that after more than two decades in the media industry, she has earned the experience and professionalism required to conduct interviews responsibly.
According to her, she always respects the boundaries set by her guests, explaining that some of them choose the topics they are comfortable discussing before appearing on the show. She added that her programme is designed to promote love, meaningful conversations, and understanding—not to attack, embarrass, or disrespect anyone.
Morayo concluded by saying that while people are entitled to disagree with the questions she asks, cursing her for simply doing her job is both unfair and unfortunate.
