A woman has taken to Facebook to publicly call out her estranged husband, with whom she shares four children, over the challenges she says she endured during their marriage.
In a series of posts, the woman claimed she became pregnant and gave birth four times in less than five years of marriage, alleging that she had to navigate pregnancy, childbirth and childcare with little or no support.
According to her, she repeatedly pleaded with her then-husband to allow her to hire a nanny or get additional help, but he allegedly refused.
She also accused him of body-shaming her despite her repeated pregnancies.
The woman further claimed that she eventually left the marriage after he allegedly attempted to “number” her—a colloquial expression suggesting he planned to take another wife.
Sharing her experience, she wrote:
“I gave birth to 4 kids under 5 years of marriage… none is twins… I passed through pregnancy, labour, childbirth and the nursing stage alone. My mum was around when I gave birth to my first daughter, and it was very easy for me. But the rest, I passed through hell. I smiled publicly, but deep down I was exhausted. I cried. I begged my ex-husband for a nanny or help, but he refused.
“You need to see where he is body-shaming me. He would say, ‘You are fat, your breasts have fallen,’ and call me all sorts of names, yet he kept getting me pregnant every year.
“I am just waiting for him to reply me or say pim.
“You wanted to number me after I had built with you. You lied. I am happy I dumped you.
“For my kids, I am coming for them.”
The estranged husband has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of filing this report.
