King Charles Displays Rare Wedding Photo of Meghan Markle Prominently in His Home

On Thursday, Dec. 11, the Queen hosted a Christmas gathering for children at Clarence House, the royal couple’s main residence in London. During the event, family photos displayed on a table were visible in the background of images from the celebration. Among them was a portrait from Prince Louis’ 2018 christening, featuring Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, as well as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Next to it was a framed photograph capturing a special moment between Charles, now 77, and Meghan, now 44, from her 2018 royal wedding. The rare black-and-white image shows the future king linking arms with his new daughter-in-law at St. George’s Chapel, the church inside Windsor Castle where the ceremony took place. While Meghan initially entered the chapel alone, she walked arm-in-arm with Charles for the second part of her aisle walk toward Prince Harry. When Charles greeted his son, Harry famously smiled and said, “Thank you, Pa.”
