Ford Motor Company has suspended an employee who verbally insulted U.S. President Donald Trump during the president’s inspection of one of the automaker’s facilities.

According to reports by The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and other media outlets on January 14 (local time), the employee, identified as 40-year-old T.J. Sabula, was placed on suspension following the incident.

Sabula reportedly shouted the slur “pedophile protector” at President Trump while the president was touring Ford’s F-150 pickup truck production plant in Dearborn, Michigan.

In response, President Trump turned toward the source of the remark and made an obscene gesture by raising his middle finger. He was also seen on video appearing to shout “f*** you” twice.
