Ubi Franklin Shares Details of Court Ruling After Man Is Sentenced for Stabbing Woman Over Rejected Advance

Music executive Ubi Franklin has revealed details of a Lagos State Magistrate Court ruling involving a man who was sentenced to nine months in prison for stabbing a woman after she rejected his sexual advances.

According to Franklin, the incident reportedly began as a disagreement over a financial arrangement between the two parties. He explained that the man had initially agreed to pay N2,000 for a sexual encounter but later attempted to reduce the amount to N1,600 before their third meeting.

Franklin said the situation took a violent turn after the woman refused the revised offer and declined to continue with the arrangement. The man allegedly reacted angrily and attacked her with a knife.

Sharing the court outcome, the talent manager noted that the judgment demonstrated the importance of swift legal action in cases involving violence against women. He used the incident to draw attention to the consequences of acts of aggression and the role of the justice system in holding offenders accountable.
