Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested three suspected collaborators of Boko Haram/ISWAP in Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State.
The suspects were apprehended on April 13 by operatives of Sector 3 Military Intelligence Brigade, in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), in the Abari general area.
They were identified as Falmata Abukar, 43; Halima Audu, 35; and Mairo Abba, 17.
Security sources said the suspects were intercepted while allegedly attempting to move from Abari to Mararaba village in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State. Items recovered from them included 12 pairs of suspected terrorist uniform materials, 176 bottles of herbicide, 22 wrappers, 24 assorted children’s clothes, a mosquito net, a mat, and N15,500 in cash.
The sources added that the recovered items were believed to be logistics supplies intended for insurgents operating within the Lake Chad axis.
