On Monday, West Ham completed the signing of England midfielder James Ward-Prowse from Southampton in a deal reportedly valued at £30 million ($38 million).
Ward-Prowse has secured a four-year contract with the Hammers, marking a swift comeback to the Premier League after Southampton’s relegation. Moreover, Ward-Prowse demonstrated his remarkable prowess by expertly executing 17 Premier League free-kicks for Southampton, with just one more needed to equal the longstanding record set by the illustrious David Beckham.”
He becomes West Ham’s second significant acquisition since the conclusion of the previous season, closely following their recent capture of Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez.
