Actress Doris Ogala has reacted again following Pastor Chris Okafor’s public apology, emphasizing that while she has personally accepted it, the matter is far from resolved.
In a lengthy and emotional statement, Doris criticized those urging her to forgive as being hypocritical. She explained that she accepted the apology on a personal, human level but does not believe it was sincere or sufficient to address the issues she raised. Doris noted that Pastor Chris’ apology was directed at “the mortal Doris,” adding that while she has forgiven him personally, she believes God has not. She described the apology as more a measure of damage control than genuine repentance.
The actress also alleged that deeper issues persist within the church, claiming that many members are under what she described as “bondage” and “hypnosis.” She said people are blinded to wrongdoing and continue to applaud actions that should raise concern.
Doris challenged Pastor Chris to take the matter to the police if, as he claims, all allegations against him are false. She stated that she is ready to present evidence if the issue becomes legal, stressing that she came forward not for attention or clout.
She further suggested that recent developments and others speaking out indicate that the situation is unfolding beyond her control. According to Doris, God is intentionally exposing issues, and more revelations may yet come.
While reiterating that she has forgiven Pastor Chris personally, Doris insisted that the matter now goes beyond her and urged people to allow events to take their course. She concluded by describing herself as a vessel, noting that whatever unfolds next will surprise many.
