Wike’s son, Jordan, called to the Nigerian Bar

Jordan Wike, son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has officially been called to the Nigerian Bar as a legal practitioner. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, September 23, at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, where Jordan joined the latest cohort of qualified lawyers formally admitted to practice in Nigeria.

Minister Wike took part in the event procession alongside members of the Body of Benchers, the prestigious regulatory body responsible for the call-to-bar process.

Sharing images from the ceremony on social media, Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, wrote:

“Minister Nyesom Wike joined other members of the Body of Benchers in a procession at the Call to Bar ceremony today. His son, Jordan, is among the aspiring legal practitioners to be called to the Bar today. Happy Dad and Mum. FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, with their son, Jordan, who is to be called to the Bar today.”
