Milwaukee Bucks superstar Damian Lillard has recently initiated divorce proceedings with his longtime partner, Kay’La.
The seven-time All-Star submitted the necessary legal documents in Oregon during the current week.
According to a report by Willamette Week, Damian’s filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the primary reason leading to the irremediable breakdown of their marriage.
Their romantic journey began during their time as students at Weber State, and they had remained devoted to each other ever since. The couple officially tied the knot in September 2021 and is blessed with three children.
Over the past ten months, it appears that they have been living apart, with Kay’La relocating to a $2.7 million residence in West Linn, while Dame continued to reside at their $7.7 million property in the same city.
