After receiving the initial 28 names nominated for ministerial positions, President Bola Tinubu took further action on Wednesday by submitting an additional list of 19 new names to the Senate for screening.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, officially announced the names on the Senate floor following the screening of the first batch of nominees sent by the President last week.
The second batch of nominees includes four former governors and several other well-known politicians.
With the addition of these 19 new names, the total number of ministerial nominees now stands at 47, considering the initial 28 names.
