Beyoncé Cuts Jay-Z’s Hair During Opening Night of Reasonable Doubt 30th Anniversary Show

Jay-Z kicked off the three-night celebration of the 30th anniversary of his iconic album Reasonable Doubt with a memorable opening show at Yankee Stadium on Friday, July 10, treating fans to several surprise moments.

One of the biggest highlights came before the performance even began, when a pre-recorded video showed Beyoncé giving Jay-Z a haircut. The clip drew loud cheers from the audience and quickly sparked conversations on social media, with some fans speculating that the rapper’s fresh buzz cut could signal a new music era.

Beyoncé later made a surprise appearance on stage to perform “Can’t Knock the Hustle” with her husband. She delivered the vocals originally recorded by Mary J. Blige on the classic 1996 song and, before leaving the stage, praised Jay-Z, telling the crowd, “Give it up for my baby.”

The couple’s 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, also thrilled fans by joining her father for a performance of “Feelin’ It.” She impressed the audience with a piano solo before sharing a heartfelt hug with Jay-Z at the end of the performance.

The concert was the first of three special shows marking the milestone anniversary of Reasonable Doubt. The second night is expected to spotlight Jay-Z’s acclaimed 2001 album The Blueprint, while the final show, titled Extra Innings, will feature songs from both performances after overwhelming fan demand.
