A newborn baby boy was abandoned in Bida, Niger State, and found with a note reportedly from his mother.
The infant was discovered at the gate of a residential house in the G.R.A area of Bida on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
The note read: “Please help me to save my child. Pls.”
The incident has sparked widespread outrage both within the community and online, especially given the sacred nature of the ongoing Ramadan celebrations.
