Butterflies Represent Transformation
One of the noticeable symbols in the collection was the butterfly, which appeared on accessories including brooches and necklaces.
The butterfly was used to represent metamorphosis and change, reflecting the collection’s central idea of evolution without losing one’s identity.
Fringes, chains, metallic details and eye-catching geometric patterns also appeared throughout the collection, adding movement and a more contemporary feel to Armani’s traditionally restrained style.
A Significant Moment for the Fashion House
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection comes about a year after the death of Giorgio Armani, who founded the fashion house and shaped its distinctive approach to modern tailoring.
Silvana Armani said the brand would continue its aesthetic continuity while allowing room for evolution.
The fashion house is also entering an important period as it prepares for plans to sell an initial 15 per cent stake to outside investors, according to Reuters.
