Singer Speed Darlington has cautioned people against having more children than they can properly cater to.
In a viral video, Speed Darlington, who spoke in Igbo, said a palm wine tapper has no business having seven or five children when they may struggle to provide for them.
According to him, one or two children are enough for a family, adding that while having one child is sufficient, two is better because one person may not be able to shoulder the responsibility of planning their parents’ burial alone.
He urged people to consider their financial capacity and ability to care for their children before deciding to have more.
