Digital creator and streamer Peller has shaved his head in solidarity with his newly wedded wife, Jarvis, following the backlash she received over her appearance.
Jarvis came under heavy criticism and was subjected to online insults after she appeared with a bald hairstyle following her white wedding to Peller in Lagos last Saturday.
In a video shared online on Friday morning, Peller visited a barbershop and explained that he wanted to surprise his wife by adopting the same hairstyle.
“I want to barb skodo to surprise my wife. Because she barb skodo, everybody is abusing her and talking a lot about her,” he said.
After getting the haircut, Peller unveiled his new look to Jarvis. The gesture appeared to delight his wife, who welcomed the surprise with excitement.
The streamer’s decision has since drawn attention online, with many viewing the move as a show of love and support for his wife amid the criticism surrounding her appearance.
