Nigerian DJ and entrepreneur Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has shared that she receives marriage proposals on a daily basis but has found a humorous way to respond to questions about settling down.
In a recent interview with Marie Claire, the media personality revealed that whenever her grandmother asks about marriage, she playfully replies by earning another academic qualification instead.
Cuppy joked that adding new certificates to her impressive educational portfolio has become her way of “avoiding marriage.”
The philanthropist also disclosed that the matchmaking efforts go beyond her fans. According to her, many people are constantly trying to set her up with potential partners, even though she has never asked for help finding one.
Despite the attention surrounding her love life, Cuppy said her main priorities remain education, philanthropy, and gaining a deeper understanding of the industries she is involved in. Over the years, she has studied at prestigious institutions such as New York University, Oxford, and King’s College London, reflecting her commitment to personal and professional growth.
