Bobby Maris, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo, has broken his silence on their troubled marriage.
In a video shared today, Maris addressed the flood of direct messages he has received since reports of their marital crisis surfaced about two weeks ago.
While expressing gratitude to fans for their prayers, support, and concern, he made it clear that he has no intention of sharing his side of the story publicly. According to Maris, his decision to remain silent is driven by a desire to protect their children from further public scrutiny.
He said:
“Thank you so much to everyone who has been reaching out to me, those who called me personally… I really appreciate it. Then to those in my DM asking me to ‘speak up, speak up’… No, I wouldn’t do that because of the kids. Thank you so much and God bless you all.”
Maris and Ogbodo got married in January 2023 and share two children. The actress also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
