Blue Ivy Carter is growing up fast — and her resemblance to her superstar mother, Beyoncé, is becoming even more striking.
The 13-year-old was spotted courtside with her dad, Jay-Z, on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs game at the Crypto.com Arena, sparking a flurry of reactions online. Fans couldn’t help but point out that Blue Ivy is turning into her mother’s look-alike, with many joking that “Beyoncé really copied and pasted herself” and that “Blue Ivy looks so much like her mom.” The eldest child of the power couple also brought undeniable star power to the outing.
Blue Ivy looked stylish in baggy blue jeans, a leather jacket layered over a Mercedes-Benz shirt, and strappy wedge sneakers. She completed the look with a sparkly silver Diesel purse, black sunglasses, gold hoops, layered necklaces, and long, straight waves of dark hair with a blond ombré finish. Her glam included mascara, lip liner, and a detailed manicure.
Jay-Z kept things simple in an all-black outfit and sunglasses. The father-daughter pair were seen smiling, chatting, and posing for photos as they enjoyed quality time together at the game.
Although Jay-Z and Beyoncé kept Blue Ivy largely out of the spotlight during her early childhood, she has recently begun carving out her own path. In 2023, she made her stage debut alongside her mom, performing with the backup dancers during “My Power” and “Black Parade” at Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour stop in Paris.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé, who married in 2008, are also parents to 8-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, who were not present at the game.
