King Charles III Extends Hospital Stay to a Second Day After Prostate Surgery
On Saturday, Britain’s King Charles III remained in the hospital for the second consecutive day, where he received a visit from his wife, Queen Camilla, following his scheduled prostate surgery.
Queen Camilla was observed entering the London Clinic through a back entrance, the private hospital in the capital where the procedure took place on Friday.
In a parallel development, Charles’s daughter-in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales, aged 42, is also currently at the hospital, having spent the last 12 days recovering from abdominal surgery.
According to reports, the 75-year-old Charles is expected to complete a two-day hospital stay, and there are positive updates indicating that he is “doing well” post-surgery.
In an unusual move, royal officials issued a bulletin last week regarding the king’s health, revealing that he had undergone surgery for an enlarged prostate, with reassurance that the condition was benign.
