Troops of Sector 7 (Sub-Sector 71), Operation Enduring Peace, have arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged killing of a 28-year-old man, Chagan Musa, during a violent altercation in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 11:00 a.m. on May 18, 2026, when troops deployed in Raga responded to a distress call over a reported killing in Raga village.
According to security sources, Musa was allegedly killed following an altercation involving him and two other individuals. Following the incident, troops arrested one suspect, identified as Usman Reuben, in connection with the case.
The suspect is currently in military custody for further investigation and is expected to be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
Security authorities said investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
