A video capturing the moment actress Rechael Okonkwo, popularly known as Nkoli, put her colleague Zubby Michael in his place after he jokingly mocked her for owning properties and a fleet of cars while still single, has been making rounds on social media.

In the trending clip, Zubby and Rechael were on a movie set when he playfully commented on her lifestyle.

“Lagos big girl. Landlady. These ones no dey scare husbands away. She has bought a house, buys cars… who wants to marry you? You buy a house, buy a G-Wagon, what will your boyfriend now buy?” Zubby teased.

Rechael, however, calmly responded, emphasizing that she is not in a rush to get married. She explained that her priority is to find herself and live a purposeful life before meeting a man who has also found himself and is living meaningfully.

“The idea is to be purposeful before partnership. Where I am coming from has been very dark. I am not looking for a poverty-alleviation relationship. I want to find myself and meet a man who has also found himself. If success scares men, then why didn’t I get married during the time I was roasting corn and working as a dancer?” she said.
