The sad news was made public on Sunday, March 1, through a statement shared on the group’s official Facebook page, managed by their team. In the heartfelt announcement, the family expressed deep sorrow over his sudden demise, describing the loss as painful and difficult to comprehend.

Gospel singer Esther Igbekele also confirmed the news on her Instagram page. She shared a photo of the late singer and paid a touching tribute to him in Yoruba, honoring his life and impact.

Taiwo performed alongside his twin brother, Kehinde Adegbodu, and together they gained recognition in the Yoruba gospel music scene following the release of their debut album, Faratimi (Lean on Me), in 1999.

Over the years, the duo became known for their spiritually uplifting songs and strong cultural influence, building a loyal following within the Christian music community.
