Commercial minibus drivers, popularly known as Korokpe operators, have taken to the streets to protest the recent restrictions imposed on their operations by the Lagos State Government.

The drivers say the directive has severely disrupted their livelihoods, leaving many unable to work and meet their daily financial obligations.

According to them, the restriction has also created transportation gaps in several parts of Lagos, forcing commuters to contend with limited mobility options and increased fares.

The protesters are calling for urgent dialogue with the state government, urging authorities to review the policy or provide a workable alternative that will allow them to continue operating without losing their source of income.
