OAP Dotun has taken to social media to call out the American Embassy in Nigeria for allegedly allowing his ex-wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo, to relocate to the United States with their children without his consent.

Dotun and Taiwo were married for eight years before their separation, and the pair have since been embroiled in a custody battle over their two daughters. Dotun has repeatedly accused Taiwo, her family, and her older brother, singer D’Banj, of denying him access to the children despite court orders granting joint custody.

In a series of posts shared on social media on Tuesday morning, Dotun alleged that the US Embassy in Nigeria “connived” with Taiwo to facilitate the relocation of their daughters without his approval. He also accused a former US Consular official in Nigeria of allegedly working with Taiwo and her family to take the girls out of the country without his consent.
