Celebrity fashion designer Toyin Lawani has sparked discussion over what she described as a growing trend among some women in Lagos, noting that many now appear to have similar facial features due to cosmetic enhancements.
In a video shared online, Toyin said she had noticed an increasing number of women sporting similar features, particularly elongated jaws and fuller lips.
“There is something going on in Lagos. Everybody is starting to look alike. I see you today, next day, long jaw,” she said.
The fashion designer went on to question the growing popularity of the look, suggesting that many women she referred to as “Lagos baddies” now appear to share similar facial features.
“All the Lagos baddies are just looking alike. Long jaw and plump lips,” she added.
