Authorities in Alabama are investigating a triple homicide after Lisa Gail Fields, 46, and her two children, 17-year-old Keziah Luker and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr., were discovered slain in their home in Wilmer on Monday, April 20, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

As of Tuesday, April 21, authorities had not identified any suspects or persons of interest.

Investigators said Fields was stabbed and had her throat cut; Keziah was fatally shot, while Thomas was also found with his throat slit. The sheriff added that the 12-year-old had been nearly decapitated.

Police said all three victims had been bound with zip ties, their hands tied behind their backs, and were found in separate rooms.

Keziah was about eight months pregnant at the time, according to reports by FOX 11 and AL.com.

The bodies were discovered after Keziah’s boyfriend, who was at work, noticed unusual movement on her phone via the Life360 app. When he was unable to reach her, he asked his father to check on her. The man later found the bodies and called 911, News 5 reported.

Authorities said the home appeared to have been ransacked, suggesting the suspects may have been searching for something. Investigators are also considering the possibility that more than one person was involved, given that the victims had been restrained.

An 18-month-old child, identified as Keziah’s, was found unharmed inside the home.

Police have not yet determined a motive and said they do not believe the killings were domestic-related.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support funeral arrangements for the victims.

Fields’ husband, Nathan Fields, said in a Facebook post that he is offering a $1,000 reward for information that could lead to the identification of those responsible.

“Everyone knows we lost three very special people last night. Senseless and uncalled for,” he wrote in a separate post on Tuesday, April 21.

“We had both finally found each other, and it may not have been perfect, but she was, and she made me better.”
