Nollywood actor Stan Nze has made it clear that he won’t put his life in danger just to prove his acting skills.

In a recent interview with The Nation, Stan emphasized that risking his safety for a role would be nothing short of foolishness. He pointed out that professional stunt actors are trained and well-compensated to perform dangerous scenes — and it’s their job to take on those risks.

He said,

“Why would I risk my life jumping from a dangerous height in a movie? Jumping scenes are done by stunt guys. That’s their job. They’re trained and experienced, and they get paid for it.

I’m not going to be foolish and jump from a dangerous height just to be known as the best actor in Africa, only for people to pause for a minute of silence and then move on. That’s stupidity.

I’ll stick to the scenes meant for me and let the stuntmen do their job.”

Stan Nze’s stance highlights the importance of safety on set and the value of specialists who handle risky stunts, reminding actors and filmmakers alike to prioritize life over fleeting fame.
