Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has sparked fresh concern among Nigerians following the emergence of a new video showing him in a distressed state.
The video, which surfaced over the weekend, has generated widespread discussion on social media, with many expressing worry about the actor’s mental health and overall well-being.
According to an eyewitness, Anuku was filmed on Saturday, June 27, sitting and at times lying on the bare ground along a street in the Wuse 2 district of Abuja. In the footage, the actor appears disoriented and unkempt while holding a disposable cup and muttering to himself.
Some social media users speculated that he may have been intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol, citing what they described as his erratic behaviour. However, these claims have not been independently verified.
