Troops of Sector 5 under Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have launched a manhunt for suspected Fulani bandits following the killing of a civilian in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama said the incident occurred at about 9:10 a.m. on May 3, 2026, in Kaban village.
Troops deployed at Horop responded to a report of the attack and moved to the scene. On arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the victim, while the perpetrators had already fled the area.
He added that there was no immediate trace of the attackers.
