Businessman Isaac Fayose has fired back at comedian Seyilaw following an online exchange.
The clash began after Seyilaw appeared to take a swipe at Fayose over his call for President Bola Tinubu’s resignation.
Fayose had earlier shared a video complaining about the worsening traffic situation in Nigeria. He linked the issue to the increase in fuel prices and urged that the president either resign or be impeached by the Senate.
Responding, Seyilaw argued that the reduced vehicular traffic in some areas is due to infrastructure improvements. He cited the construction of new roads, including coastal routes, as well as the introduction of blue and red rail lines in Lagos.
Fayose has now responded in a separate video, accusing the comedian of being biased. He alleged that Seyilaw’s “thinking has been influenced,” suggesting he is defending the government’s narrative. Fayose also questioned why the comedian’s family resides in the United Kingdom if, as he claims, conditions in Nigeria are improving.
