Armed bandits have attacked communities in Omala and Kabba/Bunu Local Government Areas of Kogi State, abducting five people and killing three residents.
The attackers invaded Odae Bunu community in Kabba/Bunu LGA on Monday, April 13, 2026, where they abducted five people and killed one resident.
The incident has thrown the community into panic, with residents expressing growing concerns over rising insecurity in the area.
As of the time of filing this report, security agencies have yet to release an official statement regarding the attack.
In a similar incident, two residents were killed in Bagaji Odo community in Omala LGA.
The attack is believed to have been carried out by suspected herdsmen on Sunday, April 12.
Several other residents were also reportedly injured during the attack.
