Miss Universe Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry, has been released from the hospital four months after her shocking fall from the Miss Universe stage, pageant organizers have confirmed.
In a statement shared with Jamaican news outlet The Gleaner, Mark McDermoth and Karl Williams, organizers of the Miss Jamaica pageant, said Henry has been discharged and is now recovering with the support of her medical team.
PEOPLE magazine also confirmed through representatives of Miss Universe Jamaica that Henry has left the hospital but remains under close medical supervision.
“She has not yet returned to active Miss Universe Jamaica duties; therefore, no interviews or official appearances are currently on her itinerary,” McDermoth and Williams said.
Henry was hospitalized after suffering a fracture and intracranial hemorrhage following her fall from the stage while competing at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand in November 2025.
Her legal representatives also noted that she has been unable to resume her work as an ophthalmology resident since the incident.
On November 19, Henry was taken away on a stretcher after collapsing during the preliminary evening gown round of the competition in Thailand.
