Troops arrest suspected Boko Haram informant in Borno State

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a suspected Boko Haram informant in Kaga Local Government Area, Borno State.

The arrest followed actionable intelligence on individuals allegedly collaborating with terrorists in the region.

According to sources, troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade, working alongside members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), apprehended the suspect, identified as Bulama Modu, at Shauri village along the Mainok axis at approximately 9:10 a.m. on March 26, 2026.

Items recovered from the suspect include a Tecno mobile phone, charms, and a sum of ₦5,700.

The suspect and the recovered items are currently in custody for further investigation, as security agencies intensify efforts to dismantle informant networks supporting insurgent activities in the North-East.
