Ahmadu Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa State, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor announced on Friday, February 27, that he defected alongside members of his cabinet and officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Fintiri said his decision was driven by the developmental interests of the people of Adamawa State.
His defection follows the recent moves by Agbu Kefas of Taraba State, Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, and Caleb Muftwang of Plateau State, who also joined the ruling party.
