In a disturbing 6-minute, 41-second video shared online, a masked ISWAP fighter is seen interrogating the captives one by one before their execution.

The footage shows the victims, all dressed in red jumpsuits, kneeling with armed militants standing behind them, wielding rifles and jackknives.

According to a translation by Daily Trust, the group’s commander accused the captives of hypocrisy and of collaborating with “infidels”—a justification he cited for their killing.

The video graphically depicts the militants using knives to slit the throats of all seven captives, after which their bodies are dumped into a shallow ditch.

A senior official from the Magumeri Local Government Council, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust.

The official identified four of the victims as members of the CJTF and local hunting groups.

“We were aware they had been abducted and were hoping for a rescue. Unfortunately, we woke up to this horrific news. We pray Allah forgives them and grants strength to their families,” the official said.
