The family of the late Miss Iniubong Umoren, a graduate of the University of Uyo, has publicly denied recent claims suggesting that her organs were harvested following her tragic death in April 2021.
Iniubong Umoren, a 26-year-old Philosophy graduate, was brutally murdered on April 29, 2021, by Uduak Abasi Frank Akpan, who lured her under the pretense of a job interview.
Akpan was subsequently found guilty of rape and murder and was sentenced to death by the Akwa Ibom State High Court on August 4, 2022.
