“Over 5,000 Newly Recruited Primary School Teachers Undergoing Screening and Documentation in Katsina State”

The Katsina State Government has recently recruited over 5,000 primary school teachers who are presently undergoing a rigorous screening and documentation process across the state.

Kabir Magaji, the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, personally oversaw the exercise at Dutsinma, Katsina, and Mani Centers on Friday. He emphasized that this teacher recruitment drive is a pivotal step in addressing the shortage of qualified educators in the state.

Magaji commended the tireless efforts of Governor Dikko Radda, who has taken substantial steps to bolster the education sector by hiring over 7,000 teachers, marking a historic milestone for the state. He also announced that once the documentation phase is completed, the newly recruited teachers will undergo a comprehensive five-day refresher training course on modern teaching techniques and learning strategies.

He urged the newly recruited teachers to collaborate and put forth their best efforts in enhancing the quality of basic education in the state.

Samaila Rabiu Musawa, the State Chairman of S-POWER Forum and one of the successful candidates in this recruitment, along with Malama Safinatu Sanda Kaita, expressed their gratitude to Governor Radda and the state government for recognizing their potential as educators. They pledged their unwavering support and dedication to improving the standard of education in Katsina State.
