Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Reach an Agreement in Child Custody Case

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have reached an agreement in their divorce case, primarily regarding child custody.

Joe and Sophie diligently negotiated the terms of their divorce over a three-day mediation session last week.

With a prenuptial agreement in place, the division of assets was not a major point of contention. The primary focus of their discussions centered around child custody.

Sophie expressed her desire for the children to reside with her in the UK, while Joe insisted on them staying with him in the United States.

As per settlement documents acquired by TMZ, it appears that “they are close to reaching an amicable resolution on all matters.”

In the interim, they have established a temporary child custody arrangement. According to these terms, their two children, aged 1 and 3, will be under Sophie’s care from October 9 to October 21, during which time she is permitted to travel with them to the UK.

On October 21, Sophie is obligated to return with the children to the U.S., where Joe will take over custody until November 2.

Subsequently, the children will reunite with Sophie until November 22. Joe will assume custody on that date and is expected to spend Thanksgiving with them.

The children will then return to their mother’s care on December 16, remaining with her until January 7, thereby allowing Sophie to spend Christmas and New Year’s with them.
