It will not be well with you guys – Isaac Fayose slams Obidients attacking him for spending time with Seyi Tinubu and praying for his father, President Tinubu

Nigerian businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has faced online criticism from Obidients—the outspoken supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi—after sharing details of his recent meeting with Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, in Abuja.

Following the encounter, Fayose shared a photograph of himself with the younger Tinubu on his Instagram page, expressing admiration for him. In the accompanying caption, he revealed that they offered prayers for Seyi Tinubu and President Bola Tinubu. However, Fayose also clarified that his political support and vote remained with Peter Obi.

The post quickly sparked backlash from some members of Obi’s support base, who accused the businessman of contradicting his political position by associating with members of the president’s family.

In a follow-up video shared on Instagram on Thursday morning, an upset Fayose criticized his detractors, questioning whether Peter Obi had ever personally acknowledged the financial sacrifices and efforts he made during the campaign period. Expressing frustration over the criticism, Fayose suggested that he could reconsider his support for Obi and potentially shift his allegiance to President Tinubu.
