Super Eagles Depart for Warsaw Ahead of International Friendly Against Poland

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to travel to Warsaw today ahead of their international friendly match against Poland, scheduled for Wednesday.

The encounter will take place at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, where the three-time African champions will continue preparations for upcoming competitions.

Head coach Éric Chelle, members of his technical crew, and several players who were part of Nigeria’s successful 2026 Unity Cup campaign are expected to make the trip.

Millwall winger Femi Azeez has been called up to the squad as a replacement for Samuel Chukwueze, who will miss the fixture.

The Super Eagles will also be without key forwards Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, both of whom have withdrawn from the friendly.

Meanwhile, midfielders Alhassan Yusuf and Samson Tijani will not travel with the team after encountering visa-related issues.

The friendly against Poland is expected to provide Chelle with another opportunity to assess his squad and fine-tune preparations ahead of future international assignments.
