A man has recounted the recent attack on a school in Ogbomosho, alleging that armed men dressed in military uniforms stormed the premises and opened fire.
According to him, chaos erupted after the attackers invaded the school, with children reportedly attempting to escape through windows but lacking the strength to get out before many were taken away.
He claimed that several young children were abducted, including his son’s wife, a teacher at the school, and her baby. He alleged that she was the woman seen in the viral video carrying a child while crying.
Speaking on the now-circulating footage from the incident, the man said he did not know how the video was recorded or released.
He further stated that although similar incidents had occurred in the area in the past, they had never happened on such a scale. According to him, unlike previous cases that involved one or two victims, about 46 persons, including children, were allegedly abducted in this latest attack.
