A suspected thief has been apprehended for allegedly stealing worshippers’ shoes during prayers at a mosque in Hadejia, Jigawa State.
It was gathered that the suspect had been stealing shoes from various mosques over a prolonged period.
A witness, Muhammed Sani Yusuf, said the incident occurred at a mosque along Maje Road on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
According to him, the total number of shoes stolen by the suspect remains unknown.
