The lady who recently raised concerns about the shortage of BRT buses in Lagos has reacted after her story went viral.
Commenting on our post about the incident, she thanked the platform for sharing her experience and explained what happened that morning.
According to her, she later discovered that almost all the BRT buses had been chartered for an event, despite authorities knowing that commuters would still need them to get to work the following day.
She said the situation forced many passengers to remain on the queue for hours, adding that she personally left the bus stop after 9 a.m. because there were still no buses available.
The lady also alleged that the woman who confronted her was one of the BRT staff, which she believes explains why the staff member reacted strongly while she was recording the situation.
She further responded to complaints from some passengers who were upset that their faces appeared in the video.
Expressing her frustration, she wrote:
“While the passengers are angry about their faces showing… Seriously?? Is that what matters? Are you guys serious?”
