The 25-year-old singer reportedly passed away on Saturday, January 31, after being bitten by a cobra inside her room at her Abuja residence.
According to accounts shared by friends and colleagues online, Ifunanya was rushed to the hospital immediately after the snake bite. However, they claim she could not be saved due to the unavailability of the required antivenom at the time.
Videos circulating on social media show a snake catcher holding a cobra said to have been found inside her room.
