Suspected bandits have abducted a pastor and his wife in Angwan Adiko, Kafari–Kujama community, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The victims were identified as Rev. Christopher Rufa’asiri, pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, and his wife, Mrs. Patience Christopher.
The incident occurred late on Monday night, January 26, 2026, throwing the community into fear and tension.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) immediately mobilised a patrol team to the area in collaboration with other security agencies.
He said the surrounding bushes were cordoned off, while efforts are being intensified to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
