Spanish giants Real Madrid have once again been crowned the highest-revenue club in world football, according to Deloitte’s latest global ranking.

For the 2024–25 season, the club generated a staggering €1.161 billion, marking an increase of €115.5 million from the previous year. This places Real Madrid nearly €200 million ahead of second-placed Barcelona, who recorded revenues of €974.8 million.

The gap extends even further beyond the Premier League’s top earners. Liverpool, ranked fifth, generated €836.1 million, highlighting Real Madrid’s commanding financial position despite finishing the season without any major trophies.

Deloitte notes that the three main revenue streams in football “grew to unprecedented levels,” and Real Madrid capitalized on this trend. Key factors included revenue from the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, participation in the Club World Cup, and the Champions League, consolidating their status as global leaders in football income.

The club’s commercial revenues were particularly strong, rising 23% to around €570 million (£499 million), thanks to improved merchandising and new commercial partnerships. Broadcast revenue also remained robust at €323 million (£281 million), placing Real Madrid at the top of both categories.
